Chris Bateman brings us another great piece to discuss how Video Games and their future appeal ties into the socialogical elements of fun and pure play as they exist in society.  By looking at these Paidic patterns and how they eventually evolve into Ludus we are able to gleam insight at how to design better games that don’t simply appeal those hardcore gamers but everyone no matter they level of video game literacy.
